Hey dear readers/followers, sorry i have been away for a while but the LORD has kept me fruitful (as opposed to busy) and for that i am greatful!!

Ok, today i wanted to share about a principle or dicipline my pastor was talking about a few Sunday's ago. Forming a habit of setting aside time just to say "thank you" to Almighty God for all the things you are thankful for, without asking Him for anything.

Now, we are not saying that asking is wrong! In fact we SHOULD go to our Heavenly Father with our petitions, He wants us to do that!! He encourages us to ask and we will recieve, to seek and we will find. He promises to meet all our needs according to His riches and Glory, Hallelujah!

We are talking about a seperate diciplining yourself for at least five minutes a day JUST TO "SAY THANK YOU FATHER" for EVERYTHING you are thank ful for, name them one by one and you will realise how blessed you truly are! And what an awesome God you serve!

I think it is an excellent dicipline to form as we so often slip into requests and petitions without thanking our LORD for all the things He has done for us and continues to do for us! Most amazing gift being our Salvation and promise of Preservation!! WOW!

It may feel mechanical in the beginning setting aside time just to thank your Father in Heaven. But soon enough it will become part of your nature to say "THANK YOU LORD" rather than "THANK YOU LORD AND PLEASE DO THIS TOO!"

Asking is good

But don't forget to Thank!!!

I'm just beginning to take thank you breaks (i usually remember at night!! Hoping it will be during the day soon!!) I already feel blessed by it!

How many people do YOU personally know in this state of complete apostasy? People who think they're saved when by works they completely deny Christ.

I think it's scarier than the worst Thriller you could ever watch.

have you repented of your sin? Have you truly turned your back on sin and clung on to the cross of Jesus Christ for very LIFE? Do you see the Holy Spirit transform you from the inside out? Do you see progress in your life? Are you beginning to HATE things that God hates and LOVE things that God loves? Or are you fooling yourself?

i beg you,

take the scripures and examine yourself! Stop what you are doing right now and get quiet and serious with God! Your very life, your existance, eternity depends on it!

Jesus never ever told us that the Christian life would be "easy", only false teachers will tell you that. Jesus never lies. Everybody goes through trials. If you're on God's side, you overcome them and are empowered and made stronger by them...Because...get this, you get BROKEN. That is the only way God's power can flow through us...

Let's just say, i've been asking the LORD to crush my pride, and He's doing it...I choose to rejoice.

I am not very familiar with Dr.Stanley's teachings nor do i know much about him but from what I've heard his doctrine is pretty solid. I came across this clip the other day and wanted to share it.

Hardly anyone is talking about the effects and seriousness of sin these days, you'll only find that in true churches. Thank God i just came from a service that focused on the wrath side of God and the seriousness of sin. We need to hear that at times, as much as we need to hear about God's unconditional love. It tickles me when people don't want to mention righteous anger when talking about love...how can you have true love without righteous anger? Don't the two go hand in hand?

Anyway,

enjoy the clip and may the LORD touch your heart through it. Read and study your bible DAILY and discern all things through it.

The wonder and absolute miracle of having the Holy Spirit open my eyes so i could understand the scriptures, see my wretchedness and repent.

And to think the one who created the universe and sustains it lives on the inside of me?

My good friend and sister in Christ Rebecca is having pregnancy complications. She is five months pregnant and the doctor has said there is a chance that she may lose the baby.

Woman Of God

The young woman you see in the picture is my great great Auntie O.

Unfortunately i don't remember her too well, i was very young when she passed away.

My mother told me the story of her life very recently and i wanted to share it with the world.

Auntie O was a devout Christian, widowed at a very young age she was left on her own with three young mouths to feed. One of the children was barely a toddler!

In order to keep her family alive, Auntie O put the oldest child in charge of the house (oldest child being less than 10 years old!) while she walked many many miles on rough roads to a large boarding school/orphanage. There she would wash clothes for maybe 10 hours a day to earn a living. After all that manual labor, she would walk all the way back home with a few other women who worked with her, take care of her children, cook, clean and sleep; only to start all over again the next day.

Almighty God did bless the works of her hands, He miraculously protected her children and made them grow up into 3 fine young ladies who were known for their good character and gentle personalities.

The phrase "woman" or "man of God" is distorted beyond recognition today! Most people have a picture of a sparkly TV preacher with an Armani suit Or some super genius theologian with 25 PhD's.

The more i hear stories of men and women such as my great great Auntie O, the more i realise what Jesus meant when He said:

"Blessed are you poor

for yours is the kingdom of heaven

Blessed are you who hunger now

for you shall be filled

Blessed are you who weep now

for you shall laugh" Luke8:2

Oh, i have no doubt in my mind as to where Auntie O is today. She probably has one of the greatest mansions in heaven with golden floors and diamond walls! I can also assure you she is not focusing on the gold nor the diamonds but she is worshipping, praising singing and dancing with her precious LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. The only one who never left her nor forsook her.

I really hope Auntie O's story inspired you like it did me!

The true men and women of God are those who KNOW with all their being that without Christ they truly are nobodies.

Thank you Auntie O for your life...

may you be remembered forever...

Life is so short. God calls this life on earth a "vapor" wow!

Do we really believe that though? Or do we think we're immortal and all powerful?

True, we will live eternally in heaven if we are born again BUT how do we live out our vapor day in and day out? For Jesus? Or for us?

I lost two dear friends recently, i will miss them but i know i will see them again because they were both amazing Christian women. they didn't die an easy death...they didn't even practically have an easy life. They weren't rich, famous, glamorous or all knowing.

They were two ordinary women who knew a very extra ordinary God and lived like it!

What makes us think this life is forever? or that we are so special we don't deserve to go through troubled times? I mean...look at Job!! wow!

My friend's death, even more so their life has taught me SO much! It taught me not to give a rip about petty things but to praise God IN all circumstances, i mean REALLY Praise God not just say i praise God...

There is a lot to learn...and what God has been showing me lately is ONLY DOING THE WILL OF GOD IS WHAT MATTERS! nothing else! Everything else will burn, only what is done for CHRIST will remain!

It won't matter how much money you have in the bank

How many credentials you have after your name

What school you went to....

If you did all those things to puff your ego and NOT to serve Christ then guess what...it's gonna burn...to ashes.

Don't Waste Your Vapor....Give it to Jesus...God knows we all need to learn to do that!

Greetings everyone, i want to share a video with you that i just stumbled upon.

It is very descriptive of my own personal testimony of how the LORD saved me. I had tried many religions, (Buddhism, new age, eastern philosophy) but none of my works could save me. Only Jesus Christ, the SON of the LIVING GOD reached into the miry pit, washed away my sins and set me free from the bondage sin had on me. Only Jesus Christ could give me eternal life.

There is a place called hell..

It is a very real place.

If you truly care about souls, you would know about the reality of hell.

You would speak about the reality of hell.

You would meditate on the reality of hell.

Why?

Because there is no greater love, than speaking the truth.

Letting people perish in a false system is as hateful as you can get.

I am so sick of the lukewarm garbage spewing out of the false churches today..

God said it would happen and it is happening...millions of souls are being led astray straight into hell because those who know the truth are not man enough to proclaim the truth and the very few who are proclaiming the truth are being accused of being hateful and causing discord..

Doesn't true love speak the TRUTH?
Doesn't true love warn?
Doesn't true love rebuke?
Doesn't true love lead sinners to CHRIST and not a works based salvation?!

I am so sick of it all...

"These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, i will vomit you out of My mouth. It would do us good if we read and re-read Revelation 1-3 over and over and over till we realize it truly is speaking about us...the end time church.

Toronto Curse

I was extremely saddened and angered recently to hear that a demonic movement will be coming to my country and people are gathering by the droves to go and witness this mania.

Anybody with a copy of the Holy Scriptures and a basic knowledge of the Word can see and tell that this movement has SATAN written all over it. Even unbelievers looking at this stuff can tell this is utter insanity!

The LORD warns us over and over again to be sober, where in the Scriptures do you see God instructing humans to howl like wolves or cluck like chickens?

Is it not when people are demon possessed that they are out of control like these folk in the video? Would an unbeliever walking into this "congregation" see the holiness and purity of the LORD? Would they be led to bow to their knees and confess their sins before the LORD? Would they be convicted of their sin? Does this behaviour glorify the LORD or make Him look like the author of confusion?

1Corinthians 14:40 tells us that all things must be done decently and in order in a church service!

Dear readers this is serious stuff! We do not have time to mess around with lies like these! We must warn our brothers and sisters about the evils of Satan and ALWAYS lead people to the Holy Scriptures not away from them! Don't take my word for it! Do not even listen to what's coming out of this blog! GO TO THE SCRIPTURES AND TEST ALL THINGS! Hold on to the good and throw away the bad! The time is close by!

Jesus did say that many will come IN HIS NAME performing "miracles and false signs" MANY will come deceiving disguised as an angel of light! As ministers of the gospel!

Satan does not come with his horns out! He comes disguised

How can we be safe from lies?
By abiding in the WORD

Jesus said if WE ABIDE IN HIM and HIS WORDS abide in us we will bear much fruit.

What is evident among these false movements is none of the people involved have a love for the WORD they are seeking extra biblical "revelations", "feelings" They do not love God enough to simply take Him by His word.

An evil and perverse generation seeks for signs, we must be content with what the LORD has given us, His holy and precious promises in His Word which is LIFE to us!

I do not do this in vengeance! Anybody with the Spirit of the LORD will realise that warning people and speaking the TRUTH is the greatest love there is out there.

I myself was on the verge of being deceived by a similar group as this a while ago, but God kept me by His grace! He sent amazing and loving Christian brothers and sisters my way who spoke the TRUTH and exposed the lies for what they were.
For that i am eternally grateful.

Woe is me if i too do not preach the gospel and lead people to the Holy Word of God.

We as Christians, as believers in the Glorious Gospel of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ, have a choice to make.

When times get rough, do we blend in with the unbelieving crowd and start murmuring and complaining about how difficult life is?

OR

Do we look to the Author and Finisher of our Faith, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, to Praise and magnify His name alone, knowing that even if the mountains and the hills depart, He never will.

Jesus did not promise us a problem-free existence, if anything, He told us to count the cost! He told us that if we are desiring to live a godly life here on this earth we WILL suffer persecution.

What will your choice be today?
Are you going to wallow in your problems? Or will you place them at the foot of the cross and Praise HIM with all your heart, mind soul and strength?

Ten years ago this day 12 regular teenagers were to lose their lives at the hands of their fellow students.

Ten years ago this day the Columbine Massacre occured in Colorado USA.

Events such as these should not be forgotten, nor made light of.

Events such as these should remind us of how depraved human nature truly is and without Christ there is no hope.

Events such as these should make us think about what life means to us, what our friends mean to us, what a single day means to us.

Events such as these should force us to see the beauty of a single day, and what a miracle it is to be alive and well.

Events such as these should force us to become better people, people of love, people of God, people of compassion. They should make us see that this life truly only is but a vapour! And any day lived without Christ, is a day wasted, and a day lived for Christ is better than a thousand without Him.

The truth is, none of us are good people, all of us stand condemned in the eyes of God. We have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory. If we have broken one of God's laws, we have broken all of them. We cannot save ourselves, no matter how "good" we are on the outside, on the inside we are rotting. It's called sin.

There is only one man who can take away our sin. His name is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.

You see, He came to earth as a man, but He was God in flesh, the WORD made flesh (read the book of John in the New Testament)He came not to condemn the world, but that the world THROUGH HIM might be saved. Only the blood of Jesus can wash away our sins, only through Christ can we escape God's wrath to come, only through Christ can we have a fulfilling relationship with GOD.

The Bible says TODAY is the day of salvation, we are not promised tomorrow, those students in Columbine had NO IDEA it was their last day on earth. 10 our of 10 die. Sorry but those are the statistics, we are all going to die. And there are two possible destinations.

Heaven
or
Hell

Do you believe Jesus Christ is the Son Of God? Do you believe He died for your sins? Do you believe He bore your punishment on the cross so you won't have to suffer, He suffered in your place? He died and rose again conquering death. Do you believe that today?

Repent of your sins, believe on the LORD Jesus Christ and you SHALL be saved.
turn away from the lifestyle of sin and cling on to the cross.

It is not an accident that you have read this today

I had the awesome privilege of watching a documentary yesterday about a young 13 year old girl from the UK who is completely on fire for God. We're not talking hype or false fire here, this girl is passionately concerned about the lost, deeply in love with Jesus and a bright shining star in a crooked and perverse generation.

It really is so tragic to see how watered down the "modern day gospel" really is. Health, Wealth, "Purpose Driven" ME centered gospel that is NO GOSPEL AT ALL!

Do we even care about SOULS anymore? Or is it just about "making Jesus popular"?! I started reading "Foxe's Book of Martyrs" two nights ago; It's haunting me. I have fallen SO SHORT of what those men and women were willing to do for their King.

This life is not about me. It's never been about me. I wasn't given life so i could enjoy ME! I was given life for one reason. To love and serve my King with all my heart, mind, soul and strength!

I was given life so i could worship Him and give HIM glory even when i do "mundane every day things" like when i drink a glass of water or eat a loaf of bread. Am i doing it all for His glory? Or am i on standby mode?

Woe is me if i don't preach the GLORIOUS GOSPEL of our LORD AND SAVIOUR Jesus Christ! The Gospel that has the power to convert souls and save a God-hating wretch like me.

There are so many "gospels" out there! It truly is amazing; you can just take your pick! Whichever tickles your ears most! Just pick one! Everyone seems to be having a "new revelation" about something “AWESOME” every day!

"Sin is no longer an issue with God!"

"Poverty is a curse!"

"Sow in my ministry and God will give you a car!!!”

Man! Jesus IS KEWL!!!

The “jesus” and the “god” these liars are referring to is not the Jesus of the Bible it is the “jesus” of their dark imagination and the “god” of their belly. In other words, they are feeding you a false gospel, one that is no gospel at all! A cross-less, Christ-less gospel that tickles everyone’s ears. A “gospel” that has no power, just hype, a “gospel” that only promises but never delivers, a “gospel” fabricated and devised by doctrines of demons. So in fact, yes, it is the “gospel” of satan.

What many Christians fail and refuse to understand is that satan will not deceive them from the outside, but deceivers will come from the inside! Jesus said many will come in HIS name; many will perform “miracles” IN HIS NAME. In other words, they will say with their mouth “Jesus IS Lord!!” but it is by their fruit that you will know them! “Miracles, Signs and wonders” are not considered as “fruit”.

The fruit of the Spirit is: Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

The works of the flesh are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissentions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like;…those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Read Galatians 5 in its entirety, Matthew 24 would be another great chapter as well as the first three chapters of the book of revelation.

Give yourself over to the study of Scripture The Holy and COMPLETE Word of God, let God be true and every man a LIAR! Hold on to the good, throw away and run away from the bad.

Are You Dangerous?

I found this sermon jam today by Albert Mohler, the message entitled "The Year Of Living Dangerously" An amazing and timely message of Truth.

While the pseudo church is is trying to have their "Best Life NOW" The true believers are putting themselves on the front lines. Losing their jobs, their family members and even their own lives all for the sake of the Gospel.

One of my favourite scriptures is:

"I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot. So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth." Revelation3:15-16

Read Revelation 1-3 in context it is SUCH a timely message for us all. The end time believers. I don't know about you but I'm sick of the "churches" lulling everyone to sleep. I want to be awake when my master arrives and so do you!

After listening to the short but powerful sermon clip, i was reminded of one of my heroes of the faith.

She was not some major theologian who wrote 55 books, she was a regular girl like me. Saved from a lifestyle of rebellion and sin. In April 1999 she stood for Jesus when a gun was pointed at her head and the question "Do you believe in God?" was asked. Cassie looked up at her fellow student who was pointing the gun to her head and replied "YES, I BELIEVE"

Only God could have come up with the concept of a family unit. Only God could have designed something so perfect and absolutely amazing.

Satan knows how important the Godly family structure is, that is why he is so adamant to destroy it.

Do any of you come from a perfect family? I know I don’t. There’s been a lot of heartache and misery but I still choose to look at the bright side.

I was blessed enough to have a father who provided for me, a mother who nurtured me into flourishion and a grandma who taught me that it was the simple things in life that mattered the most.

The more I’m growing up and seeing the “adult” side of the world, the more I’m becoming grateful of each and every one of my family members.

There were many times I would not have made it, physically and emotionally had it not been for their selfless sacrifices.

The times when I was so sick I could not brush my own hair, the times where I was so depressed I could not see the purpose of stepping outside my bedroom, let alone the world.

One thing that stayed the same was my family, imperfect as it was, it was always there to hug me through the pain.

I love you guys,

After Jesus, you are my world.

Imperfect as we are, we continue stepping towards the Light, His Word that moulds and shapes us into the men and women this world needs.

**If you have never had an imperfect family, God wants you to know that even if your mother and father have forsaken you HE will never forsake you, He will be a father and a mother to you. Does a mother forget her child at her breast? EVEN IF SHE DOES, God will not forget you. He has your name engraved on the palms of His hands.

Hey guys,

I just added a new "gadget" to my blog. I was looking through the "gadgets" section of blogger, i had no idea so much stuff was available!

Anyway, if you scroll way down on my page, you will see the "National Missing Children Alerts" It shows a picture of a missing child, their age and the State from which they are Missing, it also shows contact information just in case you do see the child.

Even though the children are from the USA and most of my readers are from Europe i still wanted to add this.

Jesus loves children, they are His most prized possession. He loves them so much He did mention that it would be better for a millstone to be hung around ones neck and them to be thrown into the sea if they had actually harmed a child.

Please take your time to scroll down the page and send a prayer up for these children and their families.

Pray for their protection wherever they are, pray for divine interventions that will lead these children back home safely. Pray for no damage (physical or psychological) to be done to them what so ever. Our God is an awesome God. He reins from Heaven above, with Wisdom Power and Love, our God is an awesome God!

I was feeling kind of down today, the state of the world, the issues Christians are facing around the world, the global economy crisis, my loved ones who are adamantly rejecting Jesus. I guess it all kind of got to me today. I was in a state of grieving over sin, grieving over how short I fall every day of His glory, how much more I could be doing to help people……so on and so on.

Then something amazing happened. I was looking through my drawers and I found a little book that I had made all my friends sign four years ago. My friends mean so much to me and words are what I treasure most in life.

I was flicking through it and two very special ones jumped out immediately.

One was from the girl who always kept telling me about Jesus when I was in school. I met her when I was 13 and from 13 till I was about 18 she kept preaching Jesus to me; even though I was the most cynical atheist/agnostic out there. It didn’t seem to bother her, she still told me I would end up where Hitler was if I didn’t repent. She was nice to me when I was rude to her; I will never forget a little eraser she had that said “God erases my sin”

Long story short, I ended up going to a few Bible studies, and I ended up having a radical encounter with God that’s made me the woman I am today. Her message in my book read:

“I’m so glad we ended up going to the same school for 6years! It’s been great knowing you, especially this past year, since you became a Christian…….Never stop believing in the name of the Son of God (which I’m sure you won’t!) Love you loads in Christ, -------- p.s. Philippians 4:6-7”

(which reads: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” )

The other message was from a friend I made after I got saved he was a very kind and gentle man of God; he loved talking about Jesus practically ALL the time! He wrote songs for Him, sang out loud all the time (even if people got annoyed or looked at him weird) and he always had a smile on his face.

My friend moved to heaven a year ago, I wasn’t here to say goodbye; his message read:

“…Remember Him always our Lord and Savior Jesus who said that “in the world we shall have affliction but to be of good cheer because he defeated the world.”

My God is an awesome God.

Roe vs. Wade

Today is the 36^th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade. To date, over 50 million children have been murdered in America alone.

I hate even stating it in that way. I hate making those precious children sound like a statistic.

My ancestors were murdered in 1915-1920 for their faith; 1.5 million of them. They cried out and no one went to their rescue. They left them there to be slaughtered in the most vile, demonic ways possible. The world did nothing to stop it.

It’s one thing to die for your faith; it’s another thing to be burnt alive in your own mother’s womb.

Children are dying

The world is watching

What will YOU do today to stop it?

Pray For America

Pray for the Church in America. Perilous times are ahead for the True Body of Christ.

I need not go into details. Those of you who do your own research would know what I’m talking about.

Pray For Maria

Hey everyone, I just want to share some exciting news with you.

Last night I spent some time witnessing to a precious 16 year old girl by the name of Maria.

God has been preparing her and drawing her for so long it was so obvious! She was asking all the right questions and eagerly listening to all the answers from God’s Word.

Maria didn’t know that God speaks to us through His Word. So I gave her a Bible and told her to pray and seek God and expect Him to speak to her through His Word. Her eyes lit up and she grabbed hold of her Bible and stated “I’m getting into this stuff!”

God rejoices over one sinner coming back home and so should we.

God says in His Word that if we seek for TRUTH we shall find it. Marias ears are tuned in, pray as she starts reading the Living Word, God would show her what He needs to show her.

Pray that all distractions would be removed from her life, pray she continues listening to and obeying God’s call on her life. Pray she grows up to be an amazing woman of God.

Maria has my number and I will call her in a week to check up on her.

In my four years of being saved and witnessing, I have never seen someone so ripe and eager. It was such an encouragement!

One plants, the other waters but God makes the seed grow and all the glory goes to Him.

The Herrin Family

If you guys haven’t heard about the Herrin family, I want to share a little bit about how much of a blessing their story has been to me even though I have never met them.

I heard their story a couple of years ago when I was channel surfing, trying to find something interesting to watch.

I came across a documentary type newscast about a young Mormon family from the state of Utah.

The story was about their twin girls, Kendra and Maliyah. They were four years old and they were conjoined. The family had made the difficult decision to separate the twins so they could lead normal lives in the future.

The twins shared an abdomen, pelvis, liver, kidney, large intestine and two legs (each controlled one)

The successful separation surgery occurred in August 2006. Kendra and Maliyah, by the miraculous power of God through surgery became two separate little girls.

I remember praying for them and their family at the time, trying to put myself in their parents shoes wondering if a similar situation happened to me, would I be as brave and positive and amazingly courageous as them? The whole story inspired me and moved me in a way I cannot describe with words.

The Herrin’s have a website where they post regular updates about how the girls are doing. Their story has gone global, touching many hearts and bringing people closer together.

Body Or Business?

A Bible teacher gave a summary of Christian history’s movement in a class to beginning students:

“Christianity started in Palestine as a fellowship; it moved to Greece and became a philosophy; it moved to Italy and became an institution; it moved to Europe and became a culture; it then came to America and became an enterprise; an enterprise–that’s a business.”

After a few moments a young lady, the youngest student in the class, raised her hand, asking a simple question, “A business? But isn’t it supposed to be a body?”

When the teacher said, “Yes,” the girl continued, “But when a body becomes a business, isn’t that a prostitute?”

The answer is yes; American professing Christendom is a prostitute, and any professing Christian, church, or organization that uses the message or the body for financial gain is guilty and will prove to be false.

But not the true church of Jesus Christ, who is continually becoming a holy bride, preparing for her Bridegroom. Don’t confuse the two- the true body of Jesus Christ is not Christendom.

Adopt a Child Who Was Denied Life

In America alone, over 50 million Children have been slaughtered by the silent holocaust named “Abortion”

50 million name-less, face-less children have lost their lives in the name of “choice”.

If you believe these children deserved life, a name, and a loving family, you can help them today by adopting them.

Yes, you heard me right; adopt a child who was murdered by giving him, or her your family name.

An amazing organization has decided to do a virtual memorial wall for the children who lost their lives in the silent holocaust. This is a way of remembering and valuing each human life and also sending a message to the world that ABORTION IS MURDER.

My family has adopted four children; we have given them our family name and can’t wait to meet them in heaven one day!

The Message Of The Cross!!

An excellent article on the “Cross of Christ” written by Paul Washer, a Southern Baptist Missionary, is available free of charge at www.heartcrymissionary.com. Please take your time to read it and share it with your loved ones, very seldom do you hear the cross explained in such detail and scriptural accuracy.

Washer begins his article with the following quote:

“One of my greatest burdens is that the Cross of Christ is rarely explained. It is not enough to say that “He died” for all men die. It is not enough to say that “He died a noble death.” – for martyrs do the same. We must understand that we have not fully proclaimed the death of Christ with saving power until we have cleared away the confusion that surrounds it and expounded it’s true meaning to our hearers – He died bearing the transgressions of His people and suffering the divine penalty for their sins; He was forsaken of God and crushed under the wrath of God in their place.”

The Cross Of Christ

“ For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” 1Corinthians 1:17,18

How many times have you heard the true message of the cross in church? If you belong to the 21^st Century Church of the West, Chances are, you might not even have heard the true message of the cross.

Modern day “churchianity” seems to think that Christ’s final instructions to us to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel” weren’t sufficient enough to win the lost. Jesus must not have read all the latest Psychology books, didn’t He know “preaching the gospel” would not work for the 21^st Century? Didn’t He know we would need fables and purpose driven life coaches to reach the masses? Preaching the gospel is SOOOOO out dated!

Can I ask a question?

Since when has preaching been popular?

Since when have sinners enjoyed hearing about their sin and the wages of their sin?

Doesn’t the Bible say there is no new thing under the sun? And isn’t it a mockery to the Son of the Living God, through whom all things were made, to say that “new revelations” are needed in order to suit today’s sin soaked culture?

May the LORD have mercy on us.
